In a remarkable year for music, the RIAA's latest certifications highlight 11 albums and 59 singles, featuring standout achievements from artists like SZA with "SOS," Karol G's "Mañana Será Bonito," Metro Boomin's "Heroes & Villains," along with notable works from Luke Combs, Jordan Davis, TIËSTO, and TOMORROW x TOGETHER.

incredible year in music is reflected in the latest RIAA certifications, with 11 albums and 59 singles released this year achieving the coveted Gold & Platinum status, 57 of which are first-time honorees (read the full list of first-timers here). This marks a significant achievement in the industry, reflecting both the diversity and dynamic nature of contemporary music trends. Since its inception in 1958, the Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA) has been honoring artists whose music not only spans generations but also achieves significant milestones in U.S. sales and streaming. As we approach the year's end, it's time to acknowledge the top albums, singles, and debut artists for their remarkable accomplishments.

The Year-End Gold & Platinum Awards 2023 include SZA's album "SOS" and her single "Kill Bill," both of which have soared to the top. In the Latin music scene, Carín León & Grupo Frontera's "Que Vuelvas" has emerged as the Top Latin Single, enchanting audiences with its heartfelt rhythms and lyrics. Karol G's "Mañana Será Bonito," acclaimed as the Top Latin Album, brings a fresh, vibrant energy to the genre. Metro Boomin's "Heroes & Villains" and Peso Pluma's "Génesis" have both achieved Platinum status, reflecting their wide-reaching appeal.

The music industry also celebrates eight Gold Albums, including Luke Combs' "Gettin' Old," Jordan Davis' "Bluebird Days," TIËSTO's "Drive," Zach Bryan's self-titled album, Lil Durk's "Almost Healed," Rod Wave's "Nostalgia," TOMORROW x TOGETHER's "THE NAME CHAPTER: TEMPTATION" and Stray Kids' "5-Star."
