Teddy Swims delivered a fiery performance of "Lose Control" at the Voice Finale on December 19.
eddy Swims, born Jaten Dimsdale, is a Georgia-based singer known for his soulful, genre-blending music. He performed his hit "Lose Control" from "I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1)", released on September 15, on the Voice Finale on December 19. The musician, dressed in a sharp suit, was accompanied by a live band.
During his performance, Teddy set the stage ablaze, both figuratively and literally, with flames dancing on the floor and fire exploding, mirroring the pain in his voice: "I lose control / When you're not next to me / I'm falling apart right in front of you, can't you see?"
As always, his velvet voice and heart-wrenching lyrics were met with cheers and a standing ovation from the judges: John Legend, Reba McEntire, and Niall Horan.
Among other musical guests were Tyla, performing a medley of "Truth or Dare"/"Water," and AJR with a medley of "Yes I'm A Mess"/"Bang!"
