She wrote, "How do you explain a song that took 2 years to make, in three different cities, with an army of people, and that’s just the ONE SONG named CORAZÓN ❤️‍🔥" She described music as her "whole language and life and love and blessing," highlighting how personal and significant this album is to her.

Furtado detailed the journey of creating "Corazón," starting from a trip to Colombia and evolving over four years of recording. She emphasized the journey's importance, noting the magic and lessons that happen during the process. "I made 400-500 pieces of music in 4 years," she revealed, attributing her ADHD to the creative chaos and the challenge of organizing her creations methodically.
