Taylor Swift announces her 11th studio album, ‘The Tortured Poet’s Department’ dropping April 19th.

Earlier today, Taylor Swift changed her profile image to black and white across social platforms, sparking speculations about a possible release of "Reputation" (Taylor's Version). To complement the theme, Taylor arrived at the Grammy Awards in a black and white ensemble: a white dress complemented by black gloves, further fueling the anticipation. However, we were all pleasantly mistaken!

In a very clever move typical of Taylor, she surprised us all by announcing a new album titled 'The Tortured Poet’s Department', just moments after winning her 13th Grammy with 'Midnights' for Best Pop Vocal Album. We know that Swift has been working on the album for 2 years, and it will feature 16 tracks (full track list below), includes collaborations with Post Malone, Florence + The Machine.

The album will be available as a standard digital album, CD, and vinyl and can be pre-ordered at Taylor's official website.

The deluxe vinyl version includes:

  • 16 Tracks + Bonus Track “The Manuscript”
  • Collectible 24-page book-bound jacket with three handwritten lyrics unique to this vinyl and never-before-seen photos
  • 2 Ghosted White vinyl discs
  • Collectible album sleeves including never-before-seen photos

The announcement was made via the artist's Instagram with a post that reads: “And so I enter into evidence my tarnished coat of arms, my muses, acquired like bruises, my talismans and charms. The tick, tick, tick of love bombs. My veins of pitch-black ink.”
