South African rising star Tyla announces her global tour, starting March 21, 2024, in support of her debut LP, with the tour's first leg spanning Europe and then hitting North America on April 22, following the sensational splash of her Grammy-nominated hit "Water".
December 5 marks a momentous occasion for Tyla, the South African musical prodigy, as she unveils her plans for a global tour, coinciding with the release of her self-titled debut LP. "TYLA ON TOUR. My debut album launches top of the year and I'm coming to ROCK with y'all!! Go wild Tygers đ đ€," states her Instagram post.
The momentum behind Tyla is undeniable. She first captured the global spotlight in July with her breakout single âWater,â a track produced by Sammy Soso, deeply rooted in the amapiano genre that swiftly ignited a viral dance craze on TikTok. The track charted globally, notably reaching No. 1 in countries like New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. In the United States, âWaterâ made a significant splash, reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Now, adding to her growing list of achievements, Tyla has announced the dates for her self-titled headlining tour. The tour is set to kick off in Oslo, Norway, on March 21, visiting Denmark, Germany, Paris, and the UK, among others.
On April 22, Tyla is set to reach the North America, with the opening night in San Francisco, followed by 16 concerts across the US, including Texas, Florida, and Washington D.C., before reaching Canada on May 22.
