Early Life and Background

Elyanna, whose birth name is Elian Marjieh, was born on January 23, 2002, in Nazareth, Israel. She is of Christian Palestinian and Chilean descent, a rich cultural heritage that has significantly influenced her music and artistic expression. Elyanna's early exposure to music and poetry through her family, with her mother being a poet and her grandfather a poet and singer, nurtured her passion for music from a very young age. She began singing at the age of seven, laying the foundation for her future career in music.

Move to the United States and Early Career

In 2017, seeking to pursue her musical dreams more fervently, Elyanna and her family moved to San Diego, California, before eventually settling in Los Angeles. This move marked a pivotal point in her life, as it was in the United States that she began to gain a significant following. By posting covers of songs on her Instagram account, she attracted around 300,000 followers, showcasing her talent to a broader audience and connecting with fans across the globe.

Breakthrough and Professional Debut

Elyanna's career took a significant leap forward in 2018 when she contacted Nasri, a singer and producer who introduced her to his manager, Wassim Slaiby. This introduction led to her signing with Slaiby's management company, SALXCO, and marked the beginning of her professional journey in the music industry. Under the guidance of Nasri and Massari, Elyanna released her first single, "Ana Lahale," which featured guest vocals from Massari. This track was part of her debut self-titled EP, released in February 2020, signaling her arrival on the music scene.

Rising Star and Musical Success

Following her debut, Elyanna continued to build her career with the release of her second EP, "Elyanna II," in March 2022, under Universal Arabic Music. Her singles, including "Ana Lahale," "Ghareeb Alay," "Ala Bali," and "Mama Eh," have achieved chart success on The Official Lebanese Top 20, demonstrating her growing popularity and influence in the music industry. Elyanna's ability to blend her cultural heritage with modern pop elements has resonated with audiences, establishing her as a rising star in the global music landscape.

Collaborations and Performances

Elyanna's career is also marked by notable collaborations and live performances. In 2021, she performed alongside Alnajjar in Amman, Jordan, showcasing her live performance skills. Her collaboration with Tunisian artist Balti on the track "Ghareeb Alay" and the release of "Al Kawn Janni Maak," an Arabic version of "La Vie en rose," highlight her versatility and willingness to experiment with different musical styles and genres.
