Dallas alt-pop trio little image is kicking off 2025 with the release of their new track "THE PRESSURE,” and a 20-city European tour run with labelmates almost monday. The tour launches on March 1 in Madrid, Spain. (See full tour dates below.)
Building on the synth/dance sounds the band is becoming known for “THE PRESSURE,” while sonically upbeat, lyrically the song touches on themes of mental and emotional struggle, capturing the weight of anxiety and isolation.
“The song is about breaking at the seams,” says the band. “It’s a plea for help in the face of pressures too powerful to fight alone.”
Accompanying the release is the Sawyer Skipper directed music video. Shot in stark surroundings with the band narrowly escaping actual walls closing in on them, the video brings the song’s emotional themes to life.
“THE PRESSURE” is the first of new music coming from little image in 2025. Following an intense year personally and professionally, the band spent most of 2024 facing their demons through writing and recording the follow-up to their stunning debut album, SELF TITLED. Released in May 2023, the album featured the band’s first #1 hit on the Alternative Radio Chart with "OUT OF MY MIND.” Touring and accolades followed with the band named one of iHeart’s On The Verge Artist and hometown paper Dallas Observer writing, “From acoustic guitar arpeggios to danceable synth lines, what we know so far from the album proves an impressive reemergence for little image,” while The Honey Pop penned, “little image utilize alternative, acoustic, psychedelic, and mainstream pop influences to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.”
With more new music on the horizon, little image is gearing up to make 2025 another milestone year.

Throughout a near-decade, Dallas trio little image morphed from a group of perpetually online suburban kids who were obsessed with underground indie rock and had no idea what they wanted to be into the tight-knit outfit you see today. Made up of Jackson Simmons (vocals/guitar), Brandon Walters(bass/synth) and Troy Bruner (drums), the trio truly blossomed during 2020’s lockdown.
That extra time allowed the members to fully expand on the promise of their early singles “WORTH IT” and “EGO,” exploring different ways to create a pop-rock song beyond the basic guitar/bass/drums template. This new burst of creativity led to a partnership with Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, 5SOS). Simmons credits Copelin with creating a warm, nurturing studio environment that allowed each member to explore their influences and culminated in the May 2023 release of their debut album SELF TITLED followed by a U.S. headline tour that summer. The album was deliberately sequenced to tell a story of self-doubt, self-reflection and eventually, self-love, and it scored the band their first #1 single alternative radio hit with “OUT OF MY MIND.”
little image has toured with Panic! At The Disco, Colony House and made festival appearances at Shakey Knees, Float Fest and Wonderbus Music & Arts festival.
