Legendary singer-songwriter Don McLean, best known for his timeless classic American Pie, is bringing his music to a new generation by re-releasing three iconic albums. McLean’s classic records, Believers, Chain Lightning, and Prime Time, have been remastered and returned to physical formats today on vinyl and CD via BFD/Audium Nashville.‍

Don McLean To Present At The 32nd Annual Movieguide Awards Tonight

In addition to today’s major music release, McLean will take the stage tonight at the 32nd Annual Movieguide Awards at the Avalon in Hollywood. McLean will present the Best Documentary Award alongside Metta Sandiford-Artest (formerly known as Metta World Peace), the NBA champion and philanthropist known for his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, his 2010 NBA title win, and his advocacy for mental health awareness.

The Movieguide Awards Gala, hosted by Mario Lopez, celebrates films, TV shows, and documentaries that inspire and promote family values. This year’s event will also include a tribute to first responders, recognizing those who have risked their lives during the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. The ceremony will air on Great American Family on March 6, with streaming available on PureFlix starting March 7.‍
