18-year-old singer-songwriter Jake Kohn has announced today’s arrival of his much anticipated debut album, Where Do We Go From Here?, available everywhere now via Lockeland Springs/Atlantic Records HERE.

Produced by Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan, Sierra Ferrell, Sam Barber), Where Do We Go From Here? affirms Jake Kohn as a gifted new artist blessed with a voice rich with raw emotion and vulnerable power, evidenced on singles including “When You Say You Love Me,” “Lorraine,” “Dreams,” “Hard as Stone,” and the soul-searching title track. Among its many highlights, the album includes a powerful new rendition of Alice In Chains’ classic “Nutshell” featuring Marcus King and Zac Townsend, as well as Wyatt Flores & Jake Kohn’s “Before I Do,” originally heard last year on Atlantic Records’ RIAA Gold certified, GRAMMY® Award-nominated blockbuster soundtrack, Twisters: The Album. In addition, Where Do We Go From Here? also features Kohn’s breakthrough viral hit, “Frostbite,” joined by a live version filmed in Charleston, WV for the influential radiowv channel now boasting over 2.2M views on YouTube HERE.

Hailed by Holler as “one of those lighting in the bottle, once in a lifetime types of artists,” Kohn will mark the arrival of Where Do We Go From Here? by spending much of his time on the road in coming months, including his eagerly awaited return to Nashville’s one and only Grand Ole Opry, set for Saturday, July 12 as part of the historic venue’s “Opry 100” centennial celebration. From there, the Shenandoah Valley native will join Jesse Daniel as special guest on a string of West Coast dates getting underway August 22 at Seattle, WA’s Tractor Tavern, followed by a co-headline run alongside Low Water Bridge Band beginning September 12 at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta, GA and then traveling through a very special homecoming show at Winchester, VA’s The Monument on October 4. Tickets for all announced dates are on sale now. For complete details, please visit www.jakekohnmusic.net.

About

Born in Winchester, VA – the hometown of Patsy Cline – Jake Kohn has the great history of country music in his blood. With his robust, lived-in baritone and strikingly mature songcraft,  the 18-year-old troubadour paints a vivid picture of the struggles and hardships many Americans face, particularly those in his native Appalachia. Kohn first picked up the guitar at 11 and began writing songs as soon as he’d learned a few chords, taking inspiration from legendary country artists like Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash as well as perhaps his greatest influence, the late Justin Townes Earle. Having attracted the attention of countless young country fans by posting songs like “Fraterville, TN” on YouTube, Kohn soon began spreading his music to a wider audience with increasingly bigger shows around the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. “Frostbite” proved his national viral breakthrough, resulting in his Grand Ole Opry debut in the fall of 2023, earning him a standing ovation for his performance and a deal with Lockeland Springs/Atlantic Records later that same evening. Kohn has since maintained a strong focus on his songwriting while showcasing his evolving talent on stages across America, including headline shows, dates supporting such like-minded artists as Sierra Ferrell and Sam Barber, and festival appearances at Happy Valley, OR’s Pickathon, Louisville, KY’s Bourbon & Beyond, and more. Now, with the long-awaited release of Where Do We Go From Here?, it is abundantly clear that, for Jake Kohn, the sky is the limit.
